Black Booty BIF Vol 3

With a few trades under my belt, I decided to try something new - BIF, or Beer It Forward.  Essentially a giant group trade.  You don't know when or who is shipping to you, making the box really fun to open up.  There is a list of requirements.  For this particular one, there was a minimum number of ounces (180?) and the beers were all supposed to be dark.  I you were supposed to send a glass too, but there isn't one in the picture

The beginning

My beer obsession started with two words - The Uprising.  Back on May 1st, 2009, I entered a local bar called Novare Res on a mission.  That mission... to complete their beer list and forever obtain beer glory.  The list contained 230 different beers.  Upon completion, you receive this:

As you can see, I finished on June 4th, 2010.  An intense, often drunken, expensive trip.  But well worth it.  This launched me down a path that has ultimately lead to the creation of this blog.  All beer related activities will be documented here.  Cheers!
